Happily is a song by One Direction from their album, Midnight Memories. It is the eighth track of the album. It was co-written by band member Harry Styles.

The song was performed on the Where We Are Tour and was performed on the Australian leg of the On The Road Again Tour before being replaced by "Stockholm Syndrome" during the Asian leg.

Background[]

It was written by Savan KotechaCarl Falk and Harry Styles; while the production was handled by Falk.[1]

Harry Styles co-wrote the song and, like "Strong", it is widely believed to be about his relationship with band-mate Louis Tomlinson. Many also believe the track "Fireproof" may be a continuation of "Happily", due to the lyrics "we're on fire now" (from Happily) and "maybe we're fireproof" (from Fireproof).

The song was announced as the eighth song on the track list of the album. An acoustic version of the song which was created by Country Club Martini Crew was released on SoundCloud on 10 January 2014.
